Hello readers.
Summer seems to have come and gone so fast! We climbed Snowdon, camped in the August heat at Lincolnshire showground, 2 bright and sunny weddings, and now the temperatures have dropped and the nights are drawing in.
As a child, summers seem to have lasted for ever, and now I feel I’ve blinked and missed it!
Everything around us is changing. A quote that challenges me is, “change is constant, it is the rate of change that changes.” Everything is subject to change, and this happens over time. The weather, technology, fashion, all the way down to the second hand sweeping round my watch face. Everything under the law of time.
But there is one thing that never changes. Never has. Never will. The author of time itself. God. Seen on this earth as Jesus Christ. Because He, Jesus, is outside of time. This is why it says in our Bible Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
I knew nothing about Christianity until around 40yrs, when I started to get the big questions. And, to my cynical astonishment, I got big answers!
If you would like to discuss this, or anything connected to the big questions of life, call in at Morton New Day or Dyke chapel. We are ‘normal’, but people in varying ways have shown us stuff about God we had just never heard or debated.
There is more to life than just living…
Be richly blessed, Pastor Andy.
It says in the Bible…Rom 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. “
The key is your own decision. If you accept Lord Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, turn from your old ways, commit to love & follow Him, you are a Christ-follower; a Christian.
If, as a Christian, you want to join our church, (which I hope you do!), we have 4 stages.
This all might seem what the Old Testament called ‘legalism’, but is quick & easy. As we chat I can explain what we’re about, listen how you might get involved, and together grow as disciples (learners!) and show God’s love in our community.
Please phone me anytime on 07931-652718 if I can explain further.
Be blessed, Pastor Andy.

Police Officer Matthew was critically injured when hit by an HGV in Feb. His sister Julie (& hubby Tom) have been helping his recovery in many ways, including raising funds at ‘www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/tripletsfuture’.
Matthew & Claire thank MND folk for their prayers and support. Matthew has fought from being quadraplegic to walking to this photo, and aims to climb Scaffel Pike in his future. A testimony of faith in action, and a real inspiration to us all. Thank you!
